Flanger Magazine is Chris Bush from Caboladies in a pastoral solo form, creating soft and reflective instrumentals that occupy the softest interior spaces. Forgotten Fields comes after the project's beautiful 2018 LP Breslin, and continues that album's sweetly melancholic atmosphere. Fingerpicked guitars and gentle strains of violin, mellotron and other acoustic instruments gel with ungrounded flurries of synthesis and field recordings, the entire album floating by like the current of a slow creek.
